CPR TRAINING

We offer CPR certifications from The American Heart Association, and the National Safety Council.

Basic Life Support: Healthcare and Professional Rescuers
The course highlights immediate life-threatening situations, demonstrates how to respond to them quickly and effectively, and offers some perspective about how often these situations occur. Relevant end of chapter scenarios help students prioritize threats and learn how to deal with the unexpected.

Content includes:
-The role of the professional rescuer in emergencies
-How to prevent transmission of infectious disease
-Assessing the victim's condition
-Basic life support, including rescue breathing, cardiac emergencies and CPR, airway obstruction, and AED
-Special resuscitation situations and advanced resuscitation.

BLS Healthcare and Professional Rescuers meets federal guidelines from the CDC, OSHA, and NFPA.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support: ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

Audience: is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

Heartsaver CPR: This course teaches layresponders how to recognize life-threatening emergencies with adult, child, and infant victims.

Family and Friends CPR: This course teaches lay rescuer skills in CPR and choking in adults, children, and infants, plus child safety strategies! This course is perfect for those who do not need a certification card, but care for someone and want to know how to help should an emergency arise.
